Title: Procurement Manager
Company: A $1+ billion manufacturer of specialty and engineered products with over
4,000 employees worldwide.
Position base: Central Pennsylvania
Reports to: Director of Procurement
Responsibilities: This key member of the procurement team will direct all divisional procurement activities including raw materials, supplies, MRO, capital equipment, and services. Position will leverage spends in these categories, drive the process to secure the lowest cost of goods, develop and manage supplier relationships, and negotiate large spend national contracts. Will supervise 2 direct reports.
Requirements: Degree required with CPM preferred. Dynamic, high-energy individual with a minimum of 5-7 years procurement experience in a manufacturing environment working with a wide range of commodities and services. Experience must also include demonstrated success in project management, leading cross functional teams, and negotiation of large spend contracts. Must be familiar with either an SAP or Oracle ERP system.
Compensation: Base salary $105K, 10% bonus, and a broad base of corporate benefits including a company funded pension program. Paid relocation coverage is also provided.
